Which one is Better: Fallout 4 VR vs Skyrim VR
Both Fallout 4 VR and Skyrim VR allow the gamer to make a number of customization that have not been an option with previous gaming experiences. The high level of open world adventures make it possible for the gamer to play the game time and again. And not feel like they are just playing the same thing over and over each time. It may be worthwhile knowing which one is the better option if gamers have to purchase just one of the two games.
Currently the support for Skyrim has been better than that for Fallout 4. For instance, when first released, Fallout did not support the Oculus Rift. While it may be technically functional, it requires the player to map it for themselves to be usable. So if a gamer is looking for an option that is fully functional straight out of the box, the clear winner here is Skyrim.
There have been a number of patches released for Fallout, which have helped to resolve a number of issues. However, it still has a number of limitations which require the gamer to make some adjustments to the settings for it to work ideally on their gaming system. Skyrim does not require the same amount of adjustments to be made by the user, and is once again the winner for this category as well.
Role-Playing in Fallout 4 VR and Skyrim VR
One of the best features in both of these games is the ability to role-play, which only helps to heighten the virtual reality experience for the gamer. This is also one reason why a gamer can play the same game multiple times and have a different outcome, as they select a different path to follow.
Fallout makes it possible for the gamer to complete the game in more than one way, but the player cannot define their character’s role. Skyrim allows the player to create more of a personality for their character. Thereby making it once again the clear winner between these two games in this category as well.
One of the main reasons gamers are looking to play either of these games is because of the combat found in the game. Both Fallout 4 VR and Skyrim VR have some unique issues with the system, like not being able to draw the weapon naturally, which takes a little to get used to in each game. Even so, the Fallout 4 VR game has a more gun dominated combat system than that of Skyrim VT. While Skyrim offers more options for combat, it just does not give the same feeling as Fallout, which is the winner in this category.
From the start, Fallout has a more drab appearance, with less color, making Skyrim more appealing aesthetically for the gamer. Skyrim also provides more variety for the player in the setting, like climbing up a mountain to attack a dragon. Fallout had some moments where there was a wow factor, but overall they were significantly less than that of Skyrim, making Skyrim once again the winner for this category as well.
