VisionizAR, a London based developer has announced its plans for a location based game known as Lone Wolf AR. This game is based on Choose your own path book series which was created by the late author Joe Dever and published in 1984. VisionizAR has teamed up with the author’s son Ben Dever in creating Lone Wolf AR. The game is set in Magnamund, a fictional land and follows the Lone Wolf adventures, in the game you will be able to take the positions of the characters from the series and take on quests where you battle challenging monsters.

“It’s a childhood dream come true to be working with such a beloved fantasy series alongside Ben. Like many children at the time, I found Lone Wolf captivating and it truly was a forerunner to modern-day interactive adventures, I wanted to tap into the rich and detailed world that Joe Dever created and apply a modern twist using mobile-based augmented reality. Lone Wolf lends itself perfectly to location-based gaming. ” Said VisionizAR founder, Rene Batsford.
