WWII FPS Winter Fury

VrTechToday Admin May 26, 2019

There have been numerous VR games that involve military action. Such games are front defense, final assault and onward. There is this new game that is about to be released in a month, the Winter Fury. The game was created by Spider monk entertainment and staffed by former Activision and the THQ veteran’s.  The long road is all about action with the first- person shooter (FPS) that brings you back into the backbone of Europe during World War II. The plot of the story is about a German blitzkrieg when approaching an Allied front and for some unavoidable reason you’re the only one who can stop it in a classified, experimental M-4 Sherman tank.

The gameplay is all about the M-4 in a third person, with the use of formidable cannon to remove bunkers and damage enemy tanks, you can use the 50 caliber machine gun to cut down infantry. Alternatively when you feel like risking death, you can use rifles, machine guns and handguns outside the tank. Moreover you can use scoped rifle for long range headshot or use mountable heavy machine guns, unlockable weapons and grenades.

The founder of spider monk entertainment, Scott march once said “Winter Fury combines unparalleled VR tank-fighting action with advanced foot soldier warfare. We want to bring an authentic World War action game and virtual reality is the perfect platform”

This game, Winter Fury is slated to be in steam for access at the end of May 2019, in support of Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality headset. Winter Fury has six (6) missions where the players are ranked on time and accuracy. The team had plans at the early stages to add more levels and weapons before launching the videogame fully. We will keep in touch on the game to keep you updated.
